Matthew Matt James born in North Carolina 5 December 1991. James is the father of Manny and Patty James and is of mixed race. His mother was caucasian while his father was Nigerian. In 2010 James was a graduate of Sanderson High School. Then, he went to Wake Forest University in order to earn a Bachelor's degree in Sciences in Economics. James became famous after he appeared on screen for his first appearance as a reality TV star on The Bachelorette. In the year 2020, he was selected to be the next bachelor for The Bachelor's season 25, becoming The initial African American male lead which later premiered in 2021. James is a perfect fit to be the role because he has an attractive, well-rounded and an impressive height. The show was over when he decided to choose Rachael Krkconnell to pursue an affair with her. In the following year, 2021, he got a partner with the well-known dancer Arnold to compete in the season 30 of Dancing with the Stars. James as well as Arnold were ranked 12th.
